      Newspaper Cuttings:

      Back from Russia.

When, a few weeks ago, Capt. Charles P. Williams, of the Beeston Boys' Brigade, set out on a journey to North Russia in quest of improved health, every good wish went with him.

His return to Beeston brings the assurance that he is greatly improved and with care and renewed rest will finally conquer his indisposition.

Capt. Williams has had an intensely interesting time during his travels in Russia, and has been greatly surprised at the conditions of labour. He declares that the English boy should "think himself in heaven" by comparison with his Russian companions. as the general industrial conditions for both young and old are degrading.

Capt. Williams, when his health permits, hopes to tell the boys of the Beeston Lads' Club something of his experiences which will both educate and fascinate them. [1, 2]
